With over 25 years of practical executive leadership experience, including being a pioneer in the Cannabis industry, we decided to alter directions, providing independent consultancy services to growing organizations.

Why Us?

UberGreen was established in 2007 as a consulting firm focused on high-tech organizations. Through multiple engagements, we worked with National and International governments, start ups, venture capitalists, financial funds, and Fortune 500 companies in tech, consumer electronics, and Consumer Packaged Goods. The focus has always been on profit-driven revenue growth, helping bring technology and product innovation to market while expanding market share. With the emergence of the cannabis sector, we saw opportunities to leverage our learnings to help new companies in an emerging market. Now with more than seven years of cannabis experience, we boast deal-making experience in some of the industry's largest purchases, partnerships, and M&A transactions.

Recently Jay wrapped up his time with HEXO as Chief Development Officer, where he was responsible for; R&D, Innovation, Commercialization, Category Management, and Strategic Business Development. Jay joined the cannabis industry over 6 years ago as employee #14 at The Hydropothecary (now HEXO Corp) when they were pre-revenue; HEXO now sits as a top player in the market. This growth curve was a great learning experience and one that Jay played an integral part in influencing. As part of early leadership at HEXO, Jay made significant contributions to the company's growth and success through negotiating preferred supplier agreements and partnerships with the province of Quebec (SQDC), building Truss Beverages, a Joint Venture  with Molson Coors as well as other key joint ventures and partnerships, all while building out the product portfolio and expanding the innovation platform. Jay was a part of HEXO's recognized success with award-winning product innovation, IP development, CPG partnerships, Provincial Board relations, and M&A activities. Moving forward, Jay is excited to focus on offering services through UberGreen a growth consultancy focused on businesses within the cannabis sector. In addition to Jay's extensive experience in the cannabis sector he has also been the lead in engagements with organizations such as Cisco, HP, VMware, Molson Coors the US Airforce, Department of National Defence, State and Federal law Enforcement, various Provincial Regulators as well a many other CPG and Tech companies. UberGreen's focus is to help facilitate growth by providing Strategic Leadership through innovative Growth Strategies, M&A Advisory, and Business Development services for companies with emerging products and technologies.
